the beginning
I've begun the creation of HalCreator. It is an automation platform that creates digital twins of your buildings. It uses the scada system that I created for the power plant which used 3d to animate the plant.
I am beginning the building creation system. It creates all the walls, floors, celings, doors, windows and sensors. I'll be using Vertex AI SKK as the front end so that people can just talk their fully automated building into reality. if they click on the sensor, then it will immediately find and animate the 3d object, color, size, rotation, position, scaling, depending on the object. That I've had working for 20 years with an OpenGl, which was really difficult. Now I can do it all on a webpage and create the home/business/power plant remotely.
Since I created a system that automated the entire power plant and presented 3d animated views of everything happening in the plant, I am in a great position to create a really powerful, simple to use, automation system that a normal human being can use to create their home, business or what not and view it remotely wherever they are at that moment, even on a beach in Jamaica. The thing is, I didn't have AI, now I do and I can present a listener that talks to my creation system.
They will be able to view their home/business in a 3d animated form that they can rotate and zoom to see closer inspections of their sensors and devices. For instance, when a water sensor shows leakage, they'll see animated water. When a room is hot, the entire square will glow a color representing how hot the room is.
if carbon dioxide shows it's high or carbon monoxide is high, then the room will probably pulse color and baloon, show text and talk to you, telling you to get out.
With Hal, my scada system, I supported multiple protocols and more protocols can easily be added, so I expect to be up and running pretty quickly. Within a couple of years, maybe quicker.
Hal has a viewable 3d schematic logic system that shows the controls and you can view what they are thinking. Red blocks flowing between the controls indicate that the sensor is outputting on or true, blue, it's off or false. The same for analog controls, spheres get bigger or smaller depending on where they are at on their range. I did about 100 control types of controls for the power plant and they can be accessed and interconnected to automate just about any complicated logic. I used about 1800 controls to automate the plant.
I have a full alarming system with biases and deadbands. The thing you would expect in a power plant's scada system. It's all there written in C++. I'll have Claude clean up my code. It's about 12 megabyte of code, so it can run in a small computer like a Raspberry Pi and control your home/business. The 3d had problems but the schematic logic was rock solid.
AI changed everything. But the birth of new protocols and companies developing sensors made it so that I can have powerful animations to present to the user.
The thing I have that the big companies don't have, is a fully developed system that is visual in it's logic and this logic can be seen in action. So I'm ahead of the curve here. Also, I created the first maintenance manual set of programs that took un-formatted paragraphs from 160 tech writers, manipulated the information and then output creating formatting on the pages which the sent to the airlines. What I learned is that there is always one guy that is the one who is doing most of the creation and the rest are support staff. I'm that guy.
And that is why I believe I have a chance of creating a system second to none. My life has been very restricted. I retired with enough money to survive well. My problem, doing things I'd really like to do is very restrictive because they cost a lot of money. Simple things like visiting my relatives in England. Paying for contractors to fix broken stuff, which i wind up fixing myself. Buying a motorhome so I can travel the US and Canada and affording the fuel while keeping my home mortgage and utilities.
I once was close to making large amounts of money but it would have damaged my more that helped me. Now I'm 75, in really good shape, mentally and physically since I started doing 4 day water fast once a month.
So I want to make more money. It's not selfish, it's freedom.
