Complicated

Oh man. Even with the help of AI, it got complex. Hal, which will control the house, is written in c++ and is a scada system.

What's a scada? Instead of a typical language ora set of instructions,  a good scada system is made of blocks. A power plant is much too dangerous to tell on someones compute code.

So what the industry came up with was a way to control power plants and generators with what they call a block control system.

Logical blocks are entities that you click together that form the basis of a control system that is extreme in its dependability.

Why?  Because the blocks themselves may be programmed but since they represent a specific logic, they can be programmed pretty dependably.  If they have an issue, any problem shows up rapidly because the blocks get reused in so many different ways.

An example would be, let's say an AND switch. It works this way: if all inputs are true then output a true, if only one is false then the output would be false.

Another example you could use in the real world would be an AND switch. It works this way. If all inputs are true then he output is true. For example, if all your windows and doors are connected to an AND switch, then if any window opens, which means that particular  window switch is true and goes to false when the window opens then that one window is enough to trip the AND switch output to go false and trigger an alarm.

I have a lot  of types like AND, OR, PID, String to numerical, TRIGGER which triggers on a change or a range like temperature and many many more.

What i created was a way to look at them as they make their decisions. That's just unheard of. And I created icons for each and line flows with cubes flowing from upstream block to the block its connected to.

With this you can see what it's thinking as it makes it decisions.  Its very good for debugging why a process is not doing what it should be doing. You see it in real-time. No guessing.

I also created a way to see, in an animated form, what a particular thing is doing. Like a door shows up open on the wall owning the door.

3d is the future of viewing automation.  No doubt in my mind and I have 40 years of experience on how to present the real world animated like an xray view but better.

So now I want the editing and 3d viewing to work in a browser.such a different animal.

I want the user to easily create a 3d views of their building or their machine and showing it animated.

Heres a view of the power plant and its controls. In the video I explain how it works.

I will also add Gemma 4 AI to use as a front end to the creation of schematic controls and their explanations. Stuff like: turn the house alarms on.
